~Patsy C Holmes: My daughter was on my account and her and I had a falling out and I wanted to cancel her service. I was told that I wouldn't be charged a cancellation fee even though I had * months left. I was very happy about that because I would have just kept the service on and just had the minimum package, but they were understanding. I was sent a box for the equipment to send back. I didn't hear anything for months and then they tried to charge my account. My bank notified me and I called. They informed me that they tried to charge for the remaining months left on the contract and since my bank didn't allow the charge to go through they sent it to collections. I'm very disappointed and will never have dish again. I will also tell everyone I know that dish network is a bad company.

~Patsy C Holmes: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Patsy C Holmes: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about DISH's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Patsy C Holmes: For that I would say four out of five.

~Patsy C Holmes: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for DISH to know who you are.
