~mfsob: I would not pee on one of their reps if his heart was on fire. I'm sorry if that sounds harsh, but ... when I pay for a service, and something goes wrong, I expect competent help. Not being transferred multiple times* having to phonetically spell my name, address, e-mail, etc., over and over and over* not having to go through the exact same steps with ever rep, which does not advance the solution towards resolution ... you get the idea.
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Earthlink. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Earthlink problem?
~mfsob: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~mfsob: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Earthlink's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~mfsob: For that I would say three out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Earthlink customers?
~mfsob: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Earthlink to know who you are.
