~circawdm: Outsourcing at it's finest. Just like the new TV show. People named "Bob" and "Mary" or "Peggy" ha! who are obviously in India or somewhere similar. A few speak fairly well and understand fairly well, but between the wait and the language issue and then many times them putting me on hold so they can ask for help or look something up because they don't know the answer, it is a real pain in the butt. If my business wasn't tied to them for my emails, I would drop them in a nanosecond!
GetHuman: Let's quantify your experience contacting Earthlink. On a scale of 1 to 5, how easy is it go get help on a Earthlink problem?
~circawdm: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~circawdm: I'd give them a two out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Earthlink's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~circawdm: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Earthlink customers?
~circawdm: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Earthlink to know who you are.
