~Ava: A representative, named Rita at ***-***-****, instead of fully understanding why my electric cooktop blew out the fusebox,declared that everything is my fault, I'm responsible for everything I experinced with a possibly problematic design.The truth is that cooktop model Jed**** is not safe when there is a boilover.The dual rubber rings around the ***** are not enough to seal and keep the possible spill or boilover away from the heating elements, the electric and metal parts.There should be an additional rubber plate with a rim under the knobholes, which would keep the cooktop liquidsafe.I have to praise Sherrie, another representative I could talk to a day later, who is absolutely great and instead of blaming a consumer, wants to understand, what the problem is.
