GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's OptumRx customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~napan: Had a refill available on paperwork they had previously sent me. I called it in on a Saturday and was told I would get it in * to * business days. I realized I was going to be out on the Wednesday coming up so I called on Wednesday to make sure it would arrive soon. Was told it would arrive on Friday. Friday, no arrival. Saturday, no arrival but I get a letter saying that I needed a prior authorization from my Dr. to get the refill filled (even though they had it listed as available on a form they sent me). So no one told me this when I called to place my refill, when I called on the Wednesday to follow up. Then they told me they had tried to call me to tell me, but no one had. I had no messages either on my cell, work or home phone numbers, all numbers they have access to call. So I'm out of meds and going through horrible withdrawals, and if and when the Dr. does get this prior approval it could still take ** to process the order, let alone *-* days for it to arrive. ~napan: I'd give them a three out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~napan: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about OptumRx's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~napan: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other OptumRx customers?
~napan: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for OptumRx to know who you are.
