GetHuman-amcolve: phone deactivated
GetHuman: Can you tell the rest of us a bit more from what happened on 11/23/17?
GetHuman-amcolve: I had an iPhone *s and it got exposed to water so I bought the straight talk LG Sunrise. I successfully transferred my phone number over and was able to use the phone for a month. After a month the phone wouldn't go past the power on screen. So I bought another phone and transferred my number to it. Unfortunately this phone didn't work in my area. I took it back and exchanged it for the LG Destiny. I went to transfer my number and it assigned me a completely new number. I called tech support and they tried to port the number to my SIM card. They could not so they deactivated my phone and sent me a new SIM card and told me to call back when I received that new SIM card. I called when I got the SIM card and the lady misunderstood me and assigned me a new number (she sounded in a rush to get me off the phone). I called back and got a guy and he was very helpful. Sent me another SIM card and when it arrived I was able to successfully activate my phone with the desired number. My phone worked for the entire month of October. I was able to make and receive calls and texts. I purchased a service card ********** and went to add the card **********. After I input the pin number the system ended my phone call without confirmation of added airtime. I called back and tried to add the pin again and was told it had already been used. So I called tech support. I spent ** minutes with a guy who then told me he couldn't help me after ** minutes and transferred me to a lady. At this time they made sure to tell me that I needed to enter the correct phone number I was trying to activate in the future. Funny. I called from the exact phone as I have always done. The lady said she was working on it and at the end of our call said to wait ** minutes before powering my phone back on and attempt to make a call. I did this and nothing. I tried this for an hour. I went to Walmart Wireless and they called. A lady was able to reactivate my phone and it worked for two days. I called again ********** and was told that my number was never ported over to the SIM card (Which is untrue because my phone worked an entire month). She then ported my number over and told me to wait ** minutes and turn off and on and make a call. It's been two days and my phone still does not work. I am now out $** for the first phone the LG Sunrise, $** for the LG Destiny and $** for my service card. All I want is my service active with the phone number I've used the past two years with straight talk. ******UPDATE:**PROBLEM FIXED ********** **:** AM BY MARIA.***We will see how long this lasts.
