GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Vodacom customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~J: I have been a Vodacom customer for more than ** years. In about the year **** I paid R **** as a deposit for international roaming. I trusted that Vodacom would be honourable and given that I had paid the deposit in good faith, they would return it back to me upon my request. I didn*€*t have a copy of the deposit slip, as it is **years after the fact. However it was a requirement that I had to pay the deposit in order to be granted international roaming, and I have it on my contract.**I spoke with a number of Vodacom employees who admitted that they could see proof of the deposit in the system. I would like Vodacom to listen to the call between myself and Charity Nwedamutswu on the**rd of May ****, Charity was the only staff member who was helpful and tried to assist me.**Vodacom*€*s finance department are refusing to return the deposit, they state that they have no records (BS) of my payment. They don't acknowledge that one of their own employees stated that she could see proof of my

~J: I'd give them a two out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~J: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Vodacom's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~J: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Vodacom customers?
~J: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Vodacom to know who you are.
