~C de Beer: I upgraded to a Blackberry Z** today and was told that Vodacom still didn't yet have the software available to transfer information such as my phone numbers from my old phone to the new one, how is this possible? They then assured me that it would take * hours to activate the new sim card. After waiting for * hours and seeing that the sim card in my old phone had been cancelled I phoned ****** only to be told that it could take up to ** hours before my new sim card was activated! So, now I don't have a phone, this is ridiculous!

~C de Beer: I'd give them a one out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~C de Beer: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Vodacom's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~C de Beer: For that I would say two out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Vodacom customers?
~C de Beer: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Vodacom to know who you are.
