~DrJLA: They told us over the phone that my Italian boyfriend did not need a visa when traveling from Tijuana to Rome, with stopovers in Mexico City and Miami, FL. In the Tijuana airport, there was no problem. Then in Mexico City, they would not allow him to board the plane. Then they forced him to pay another $*** for a different flight to Miami. In the middle of the day on a Thursday, customer service phone lines are "not available." They told me to email, which I have done and not received a response. One lady I spoke with refused to give me her name, and hung up on me. No one will help. He is on the flight to Miami now, what will happen? Who knows? Will they extort more money from him? Corrupt airline, DO NOT FLY!

~DrJLA: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Aeromexico's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~DrJLA: For that I would say four out of five.

~DrJLA: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Aeromexico to know who you are.
