~Kerry M: This opinion is dated: In **** I walked in to Cason & Gaskins, Wildwood, FL, to ask about a repair to a reciever I have and was told I should junk it (a $*** reciever in ****) because I could buy another one cheaper. I now find out I could've repaired this same reciever for the same money I spent to buy a new RCA stereo system from this outlet. To me this is ********! Rather than take the time to repair a dated reciever over selling a new IN STORE item I was duped into believing the receiver I have (to this day) was unrepairable. The part I need costs $***.** plus tax and repair cost for replacement. Cason & Gaskins does TV repair and sends all other repairs out for service*replacement* to me this is a misrepresentation of a company I have the highest respect for (Radio Shack) because of your availability of electronic parts, etc. This amounted to no more than to sell me a stereo system I did not need when I would have bought a speaker system to match what I was having repaired (

~Kerry M: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Kerry M: I'd give them a one out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about Radio Shack's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Kerry M: For that I would say four out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other Radio Shack customers?
~Kerry M: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for Radio Shack to know who you are.
