~securitynow: Ameriprise Financial has a very secure website and maintains it that way to limit it's liability when it comes to "their guarantee" that your accounts are safe from fraud. So much so that accessing the websites requires the customer to be vigilant, active and generally do the hard lifting for them. Having said that, their service reps are not familiar with any technical aspects of the sites themselves, because they presume that the customer is always in error when it involves the security matrix of questions, user ids, and passwords. no thought is given to the fact that modern password programs that are encrypted both up and down the internet are far more superior than any clip sheet the rep has with automatic responses.*I don't question the security of the sites, I question weather any of the reps have a grasp on modern password generators that are encrypted BEFORE the SSL socket connection. THE FACT THAT THE CALL CENTER IS NOT AVAILABLE **** IS A GOOD INDICATION THAT AMERIPRISE CARE
