~rcatwoman: I have had several issues with the Cleveland Water Dept. It started two years ago with a $***.** bill which they wanted half of or they were going to shut us off. I couldn't pay half was only able to pay $***.** so they cut us off then charged us a reconnection fee of $***.** on top of my remaining balance, again wanted half. Finally were able to do billing plan after showing up at their address listed on the bill and talking to a representative. Finally paid the bill off in full and the first bill a month later was a threat of shut-off again waiting at my door. We do have other bills and after sucking us dry want more right away. We are behind on everything trying to make the water dept. not shut-off our service again. They are just rude on the phone and have no humanity my husband and I have both been victims to downsizing in this economy. They are not a very understanding company. It just amazes me that they leave service on at abandoned homes, but the ones that are lived in are cut
