~Tom: My last home was lost in forclosure. I moved out of house last September. I called Cleveland Water department to turn my water off to that house October **th ****. They just sent me a bill for $**** saying they did an actual read. They did Not turn water off when I requested. I asked why I am responsible for any bills becuase they ignored my request. They said its my responsibility to pay bill even if its their mistake!! They said to check old house for leaks and of course there are none. Main water shutoff inside of house was turned off before I moved out!!! They would not allow me to speak with a supervisor! JUst put me on hold and allegedly spoke to their supervisor.
