~Linda: I purchased three bras from JC Penny in Palatka mall on ******** at the "door buster" sale. I returned them the next day due to wrong size. The stock was very limited. The clerk told me a truck would be coming in and it may have some in my size on it. The clerk also told me that they would honor the price show it when I made a new purchase and just keep my receipt on the purchase. I went back again on ******** and they had not received any new stock. I chose a different size and went to purchase it. After waiting at least ** minutes (the clerk was covering the men's department also) myself and another person tried to get her attention for check out. The people she was assisting told her to go ahead and help us. The clerk started to ring my purchase up and said she didn't know if she could do it. She went to the store manager and after a * minute wait, they both came out. The store manager told me that they could not honor the receipt and said they don't give out rain checks.

~Linda: I'd give them a four out of five for ease of finding your way to help.
GetHuman: What about quality of communication. How would you rate that on a 1 to 5 scale?
~Linda: I'd give them a three out of five on communication.
GetHuman: And what about JCPenney's ability to quickly and effectively address your problem?
~Linda: For that I would say one out of five.
GetHuman: And finally- any advice for other JCPenney customers?
~Linda: Call them early in the day or late. Don't forget any personal or account information you might need for JCPenney to know who you are.
