GetHuman: So how would you sum up your experience for GetHuman's Maytag customer community? We'll censor any IDs, numbers, or codes and any inappropriate words here out of respect to the millions of other customers using this resource.
~crisco: Very dissatisfied with quality of stainless steel after owning for * weeks. Called the *** * and spoke with a rep after ** minutes in the "que" to see what could be done. Small jar of capers (* oz. fell from the Refrigerator and fell on the bottom freezer door, leaving a creased dent in the top of the freezer door. The crease shows on the front of the freezer door when both doors are closed. I was told this was a use & care issue and is not covered by warranty. Mind you this item was * weeks old. I am one that takes care of my home items very carefully and this was an accident, but I feel the Stainless Quality or workmanship is defective. I feel that a * oz small jar caused that type of damage, what would a larger jar*can or dish cause. I feel the structure under the stainless (and possibly the stainless steel) is inferior, based on poor workmanship. I preceded to speak to a Manager who was nice but told me I need to take responsibility for my actions. I said co
