~Totally Ticked: * weeks after purchasing a Surface, my ring tapped it as I shooed a fly away, resulting in a chip with a crack across the tablet ,flawed I think. I called Microsoft to either get it fixed or replaced. They said they couldn't help me because I didn't purchase it from them?! sent me back to *rd party, who were very helpful, only to have them send it to Microsoft under the manufacturer's warranty, which Microsoft apparently could not directly help me with. I am definitely purchasing from Apple next time as Apple's customer service has been very good for my daughter.
